This example shows a HIGH RESOLUTION image. For printing, an image must be at least 300 pixels per inch (ppi). For use on a website, an image must be at least 72 ppi.

This example shows a LOW RESOLUTION image.

This example shows what happens when a high resolution image is enlarged. Image quality, or resolution, decreases as the image is made larger. If you double the size of an image, you are effectively reducing the resolution by half. It is important to use high resolution images at the correct size!
