A Bit About Me…
I’m Sharon Morrice, and in 2003 I decided to leave my graphic design job and start out on my own, so I created my company, über design (yes, before the other Uber).
Over time, I found that I was increasingly being asked to design websites. Since then, I’ve been on a journey, from building my first website with html code, to using a series of not-so-great website-building applications. For a while, I worked with a programmer who implemented my designs, but I missed the hands-on aspect of being able to work on sites and control every detail myself.
Meanwhile, website building apps evolved in a major way. I found Squarespace, took some courses, and since then I have designed many Squarespace sites for clients in the visual and performing arts, hospitality, retail, professional services, health & wellness, the trades and more. I have never stopped learning about website design, and I enjoy the challenge, the variety of projects and the clients that I get to meet.
